Day 134- Museum Village

Today we took a metro to a cool Museum Village!

On our way there we walked through a cool park with a circle of large busts which we thought were interesting!

The whole museum was made up of houses moved here from different regions in Romania from different times. There were some as old as the 17th century and some from the early 20th century. They varied quite a lot based on time and place!

Alexander loved all of the little wells and thought they were super cute.

He also really enjoyed the wind mills and other old machinery that we saw along the small lake nearby!

Some of them were open for us to go in and see what they would have looked like inside!

There were also a few churches! This one is from the mid-1700s.

After seeing all of the houses, we went to the cafe in the middle of the museum to warm up with some tea and hot cocoa! It was about 30 degrees walking in an open air museum and we don’t have winter coats, so the warm drinks helped a lot!

On the way back to the metro, we stopped and saw the Arcul de Triumf!
