Day 135- People’s House and Ice Skating

Today we headed out to tour the People’s House aka the Romania House of Parliament and aka the House of the Republic! As you can see the building is massive! In fact, it is the largest and most expensive administrative building in the world and the heaviest building in the world! Fun fact: it costs $6 million a year just for heating and electric every year!

Unfortunately after walking all the way around the building, we went inside to find out they weren’t doing tours today!

So instead we decided to get warm up with some lunch and figure out what to do with our afternoon.    On our way to the Parliament, we passed through the park again and saw an ice skating rink! I haven’t been ice skating in years and really missed it, so I taught Alexander how to ice skate today!
