Day 144- Carmel Market and Walk Around Tel Aviv

Today we had a leisurely morning with breakfast at our AirBnb before taking the 30 minute walk over to the Carmel Market!

Once we arrived, I was surprised at how large it was! There were so many booths with a vast variety of yummy foods and the other side sold clothes and small goods. It was several blocks long! The most popular booths were olives, fruits, and sweets like Baklava.

Alan got some pomegranate juice which was so good, we all shared!

After walking through the length of the entire market, we stepped out to find an art market! There were unending booths of unique artworks!

After getting lost in the interesting art pieces, we wandered our way back to the main market. There, we decided to get some snacks for a late afternoon lunch. We got a giant box of strawberries, a plate of interesting treats, some olives, mozzarella and tomatoes!

We then walked back to the beach and sat on a bench to eat our goodies while people watching! We were even joined by a flock of pidgeons.
