Day 168- Walking and Eating in Bangkok

Today, after some breakfast at our hotel, we headed out walking just to see what we would find!

I really really enjoyed walking around Bangkok, especially seeing and smelling all of the food stands!! There were also a number of expats, so we didn’t feel like we stuck out like a sore thumb!

The first place we stopped at was a cute little group of food stands where we shared some beef sticks!

Along the way, we walked by some very high end malls and apartment buildings, and I saw dream Ferrari! Don’t we just look like we go together? ;p

Then several blocks farther down we stopped at a very large market selling a variety of everyday things. There, I bought the comfiest pants ever!

Then, it was time for another snack! We found another food stand area where I got a mango smoothie and Alexander had some ice cream that he said was incredible!

We then sort of looped around and started our walk back towards our hotel. We stopped by each of the restuarants near us and picked a place to have dinner!

We ordered a few meals actually, so we could try a couple Thai foods! Only one of them was too spicy which is good since we are both wimps about that sort of thing!

Alexander really liked the fried rice and skewers, and I loved the noodle soup!
