Day 188- Souvenir Hunting and Wandering

Today we were on a mission to find some fancy chopsticks because they are the main souvenir that Alexander wanted to get from Japan. Thankfully, we found what we called the chopstick emporium! They had so many chopsticks! We would have been there for the entire day if we hadn’t found the section of engravable ones, however, we were still there for over an hour looking at them all!

We eventually decided to buy these two, along with the cloth holder! We each got our names engraved, one stick in Japanese and one in English!

With our purchase made, we went to a traditional Japanese restaurant, where we sat on the floor at a little table to eat! Unfortunately,  you can really tell by this photo.

After lunch, we just started walking. Along our way, we saw 3 pet shops with tiny, very expensive puppies! I didn’t want to support a pet shop, but they were so heartbreakingly cute that I had to go in and say hi!

Since it was another chilly day, we stopped for some hot chocolate and drank as we kept wandering! We turned around after walking along this river!

We also saw another pretty canal on the way back!

Lastly, we visited a pretty shrine nearish to our AirBnB! We sat there and enjoyed the pretty trees for quite a while!
