Day 170- Thai Massage and Afternoon Tea

Today was very relaxing! We first went to down our street to get a Thai massage! We had no idea how different it would be from the oil massages we have had in the past! Before we went, we did some reading and about it and some called it the “lazy man’s yoga”. We definitely understood where that name came from because you are fully clothed and laying on a mat while the therapist crawls around you and puts you into different yoga-like positions/stretches. It was a unique experience and felt really, really good! And here’s the kicker: an hour massage only cost us $9 each!

Afterwards, we walked down a few blocks to a restaurant we had passed our first day that does English afternoon tea. On this trip, whenever I’ve had the opportunity to do afternoon tea, I’ve taken it and today was no exception!

We had yummy tea along with scones and sandwiches! It was a delightful lunch.

In the mid-late afternoon, we did our laundry, Alexander worked, and we went up to the roof to relax by the pool and see the city around us!
