Day 95- Beauty Appointments and Castello Sforzesco

Today, we attended a couple beauty appointments that we made yesterday. The first was to get Alexander a haircut. He even decided to ask for a new look since if he didn’t like it, nobody he knows would see it anyway before it grew out again!

Even though it isn’t a drastic change, I still think he looks pretty handsome <3

We passed several gentlemen’s clothing shops with classy suits and jackets, so we stopped in one to look around. Alexander decided to purchase some new cologne to go with his new haircut!

I also had an appointment getting my eyebrows waxed- not nearly as exciting!

However, the place I had my appointment was right next to this place, the Castello Sforcesco! This castle was built in the 14th century (with modifications over the next few centuries) and is now used for museums and art.

Below is a picture of me right before we went out to eat tonight. I’m standing in the garden below our AirBnB!

Again, we ate by the canal near our place and drank affordable cocktails!

Day 93- Travel to Milan

Today we were sad to pack up and leave our little cottage in Switzerland, but we vowed that we will definitely be back someday with our children! We also left for Milan excited to see Italy!

It took several trains and about 6 hours, but we made it as we always do :) Since the train station we arrived in was about a 25 minute walk away from our place, we were able to see a different neighborhood then the one we are staying in. We passed the very expensive and modern area that looked really cool!

At one point, above us were more birds than I have even seen in my life! This photo doesn’t even show the half of them! They were swarming all in circles in their giant groups. It was a bit unsettling!

Then, after a drastic change in scenery, we made it to our street which is right on a canal!
